Steph enjoys regular motorbiking and currently has a Yamaha TTR 125 but is looking to upgrade to something bigger and faster. She loves getting out and seeing different parts of the countryside through organised trial rides but likes to get off the beaten track as well. The hardest part of riding is at the end of the day when you've come off a million times and had to kick a flooded bike over and still have to have enough strength to stand up and ride well. It's important to eat well and drink plenty of water with this type of sport as it is very exertive, particularly on technical or forestry tracks. |

Malcolm likes involvement in all sports and enjoys the physical training that is required in holding a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. His training until recently included instructing TKD for schools here in Christchurch, and in Auckland prior to his return to the South. Prior to taking up TKD, he was kept fit by playing 13 years of Senior volleyball which included NZ representation. Along with his training, Malcolm likes to keep active through infrequent games of basketball, tennis, golf, indoor netball, and volleyball. However his favourite activity of all is running after his two pre-school daughters (and he does mean running!) |
